“However your life is now, you are in your ‘before’ story. The end is still to be written. Are you writing a love story, a horror story, a drama, or a comedy?”
Are you experiencing a challenge in your life?
Are you able to consider that this challenge is actually your ‘before’ story? If so, what do you intend to write as the last chapter of that story? If your life was a book, would it be a love story, a horror story, a self-help book, a detective story or a comedy?
When we keep our eye on our B-All (our greatest goal to be achieved), it is easy to remember that whatever is happening to us right now is an opportunity to make choices which move us forward towards the achievement of all of our goals.
For example, one of my greatest goals is to attain my license as a doctor of natural medicine.
Every time I have a health issue, I have an opportunity to make a choice – be depressed and irritated or see the situation as an opportunity for me to learn how to deal with it using natural approaches.
I choose the second option every time because that perspective moves me closer towards the ful-fillment of my B-All.
Right now, I am learning how to recover from a long-standing fungal infection and I am just starting to write the first chapter of my new story. Rather than making it a drama, I am choosing to write it as a self-help book. As I learn more about how to heal myself, I am writing each ‘chapter’. By the time I come to my story’s last chapter, I will have recovered…and I will have acquired more knowledge about natural remedies, which will move me closer to the achievement of my B-All.
